A resident of the Rifle area since the early 80&#8217;s, Donna loved the valley for it&#8217;s people, spirit and beauty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Donna was very involved with her local church. Her mission in life was to help others, sometimes even beyond her own means. Her heart and compassion were always looking for ways to serve her Lord. She will be remembered for her strength through difficult times, determination to keep going, and kindness to those she met.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Donna is survived by her son Gene Karr, daughters Dawn Emous and Brenda Karr, sisters Rose Kania and Paula Rautanen, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">A celebration of Donna&#8217;s life will be held on April 6th at the New Life Fellowship church in Rifle.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postindependent.com\/news\/obituaries\/donna-viola-karr-april-12-1942-january-15-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\">via:: Post Independent<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Donna went home to her Lord and Savior peacefully on January 15th.
