(AP) \u2014 Search and rescue crews have recovered the bodies of two men who drove a tracked snow vehicle onto a frozen lake and fell through the ice in the Grand Mesa area of western Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Sentinel\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gjsentinel.com\/breaking\/two-bodies-recovered-from-lake-on-grand-mesa\/article_00c838a8-2974-11e9-846c-e3a2e32c12ef.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a>\u00a0Delta County Sheriff Mark Taylor announced Tuesday that a remote-operated vehicle found the bodies and the Sno-Cat vehicle at a depth of about 65 feet (20 meters) in Island Lake.<\/p>\n<p>The Delta County coroner will confirm the identities of the bodies.<\/p>\n<p>The men are believed to be 30-year-old Ryan Wells and 30-year-old Richard Colton, both of Delta, who were reported missing Sunday after they failed to check out of the Grand Mesa Lodge.<\/p>\n<p>The lodge owner told authorities that Wells had brought the snow vehicle to the lodge and inquired about taking it out on the ice.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postindependent.com\/priority\/main-headline\/2-bodies-recovered-from-frozen-lake-on-grand-mesa\/\" target=\"_blank\">via:: Post Independent<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.
