Planned construction activity affecting Glenwood Springs’ 27th Street Bridge was postponed Wednesday due to weather, and will now take place Thursday. <\/p>\n

Alternating one-lane closures will take place between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., and ongoing bridge lane closures are to be in place during off-peak hours, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. <\/p>\n

There will also be intermittent holds on South Grand Avenue and Atkinson Trail will remain in effect, according to city officials.<\/p>\n

Motorists should plan ahead for delays and allow extra time when traveling through the area, especially during peak times.<\/p>\n

Business access will remain open and motorists utilizing the area must follow flagger instructions and construction signage, the release also advised.<\/p>\n
