Hello, it’s Selena Gomez<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Unless you were living under a rock without any access to the radio or Internet in October 2015, you’ve definitely heard Adele<\/a><\/strong>‘s record-smashing megahit, “Hello.” The track made an impact on countless people, including\u2014as it newly turns out\u2014Gomez.  In an interview for Capital FM<\/a>, the “Rare” songstress was tasked with sharing a song she wishes she had written. <\/p>\n

“I would have wanted to do either ‘Send My Love (To Your New Lover)’ or ‘Hello,'” the songstress answered, referencing another track on the British star’s third studio album, 25<\/em>.<\/p>\n

However, Gomez clarified, “Will never touch an Adele song in my life. I would never try to sing it.”<\/p>\n

Still, like the rest of us, she wishes she had been part of that musical magic. “I would say those were two that I was like, ‘Man, I love that so much and I wish I had written something like that.'”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

While she’s an obvious music fan, there was one prompt that she didn’t have an answer for: “A song that reminds you of being in love.” <\/p>\n

“I don’t know if I have one,” the “Lose You to Love Me” star said after posing to think. “Yeah, I don’t think I have one.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

However, Gomez did know the first song she ever loved\u2014Lee Ann Womack<\/strong>‘s “I Hope You Dance.”<\/p>\n

“Me and my nana used to love it, so it makes me think of home,” the star explained. “It’s a sweet song. I cry every time.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
