Holidays arrive along with rising home prices in the Vail Valley

The holidays have arrived in the Vail Valley, with fresh snow at resorts, a flurry of festive events, and guests visiting from across the country and around the world. In November, local home prices were on the uptick while sales volume dipped.

The median sale price was $1.86 million, an increase of 36% from the previous month. The median list price was $1.88 million, up 39% from October. LIV Sotheby’s International Realty’s monthly market report data shows that total sales volume in the Vail Valley was $154,901,074 in November compared to $196,150,519 in October. Buyers are making quick decisions in the current real estate climate, with homes on the market for a median of 15 days in November, compared to 21 days in October.
