A new documentary about PJ Harvey<\/a> and the making of her 2016 album The Hope Six Demolition Project<\/em><\/a> will premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival<\/a> in February, Stereogum<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

A Dog Called Money<\/em> was directed by photographer and filmmaker Seamus Murphy. The film chronicles the recording of The Hope Six Demolition Project<\/em> in London, as well as Harvey and Murphy\u2019s travels in Afghanistan, Kosovo and Washington D.C.<\/p>\n

\u201cPolly and I know and trust each other,\u201d Murphy said in a statement. \u201cEnough for her to travel with me to Afghanistan and other challenging places, and for me to believe she\u2019d bring back magic. She then invited me into a big white box behind one-way windows to film every moment of the recording of the songs she brought back. Individually and together, this is our response to what we encountered.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harvey and Murphy previously collaborated on a trio of music videos for\u00a0Hope Six Demolition Project<\/em> tracks \u201cThe Orange Monkey,\u201d<\/a> \u201cThe Wheel\u201d<\/a> and \u201cThe Community of Hope.\u201d<\/a> The three clips similarly documented Harvey and Murphy\u2019s time in Afghanistan, Kosovo and D.C.<\/p>\n

In September, Harvey was tapped<\/a> to pen the score for the upcoming stage adaptation of the classic 1950 film, All About Eve<\/em>. The play will star Gillian Anderson and Lily James, and it\u2019s set to kick off a three-month run in London February 2nd.<\/p>\n
