part of an annual all-star fundraising event to aid the Ireland city\u2019s homeless population.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">The U2 rockers were among a collective of Irish musicians \u2013\u2013 including organizer Glen Hansard of the Swell Season, Damien Rice and Imelda May \u2013\u2013 to perform on a makeshift stage on the city\u2019s Grafton Street, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/2018\/dec\/24\/u2-stars-busk-for-the-homeless-in-first-performance-since-2015\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><em>the Guardian<\/em> reports<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In addition to <em>Songs of Experience<\/em>\u2018s \u201cLove Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way,\u201d the U2 duo also performed a pair of Christmas carols, \u201cO Holy Night\u201d and \u201cO Night Divine,\u201d before teaming up with the other musicians on hand for a rendition of the Darlene Love classic \u201cChristmas (Baby at the busking sessions, has taken part in the event: In 2015, the singer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/watch-bono-hozier-glen-hansard-busk-on-dublin-street-32093\/\">delivered<\/a> U2\u2019s \u201cEvery Breaking Wave\u201d and \u201cWhen Love Comes to Town,\u201d and Bono <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/bono-damien-rice-swell-season-busk-for-charity-in-dublin-254876\/\">contributed ensemble support to the 2009 event<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Proceeds from the busk benefit the Simon Community, a homeless charity in Dublin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a
