Kelly<\/a> urinating on an underage female and the singer\u2019s subsequent child pornography trial form the center of the next episodes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/tv\/tv-features\/surviving-r-kelly-lifetime-docuseries-review-774317\/\">the explosive Lifetime docuseries <em>Surviving R. Kelly<\/em><\/a>, with those who knew the 14-year-old in the sex tape speaking out in these exclusive clips from tonight\u2019s episodes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cR. Kelly would come to some [high school] basketball games. I would see him in the stands,\u201d Raven Gingler, a childhood friend of the young girl, says in the third episode. \u201cIt almost seemed like a doting father when R. Kelly would see her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sparkle, an R&amp;B singer and aunt of the underage girl, introduced Kelly to the alleged victim, a meeting that still \u201chaunts\u201d her. \u201cI should never have introduced her to him,\u201d an emotional Sparkle says in the <em>Surviving R. Kelly<\/em> clip, adding of the sex tape, \u201cI\u2019d hear things but to see it visually, and she was so young, it fucked me up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kelly was ultimately found not guilty of all charges in his child pornography trial, but the singer still allegedly attempted to salvage his reputation by having Sparkle speak positively on his behalf. Despite a generous offer, she refused.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRobert\u2019s legal team was basically trying to say that I was out for money and I was bitter,\u201d Sparkle said in the fourth episode. \u201cThey offered me upwards of high six figures for me and Robert to have a sit-down with all media around us to say that \u2018Robert and I are okay, we\u2019re kumbaya.\u2019 I didn\u2019t take the money because I can\u2019t be bought. I\u2019m gonna stand up for my family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following its two-episode premiere Thursday night, the six-part <em>Surviving R. Kelly<\/em> resumes Friday night with two more episodes, \u201cSex Tape Scandal\u201d and \u201cThe People vs. R.
