A mother attempts to reunite with her estranged daughter, a member of R. Kelly<\/a>\u2018s alleged sex cult<\/a>, in this clip from tonight\u2019s two-part finale of the Lifetime docuseries Surviving R. Kelly<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the episode, Michelle Kramer recounts how her daughter Dominique Gardner, then working as a dental assistant in Chicago, fell into Kelly\u2019s circle, with the singer eventually asking that she move to Atlanta.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this point, she was 21, 22. What could I do? I had to make the hardest choice,\u201d Kramer said. \u201cAll I could do is pray and hope that just one day she would wake up and come home.\u201d<\/p>\n

After nearly a year without seeing her daughter, Kramer finally spotted Gardner \u2013 who looked \u201cunrecognizable\u201d\u00a0\u2013 in a TMZ video<\/a> with another of Kelly\u2019s girlfriends Joycelyn Savage; TMZ posted the video following several articles questioned the welfare of the women in Kelly\u2019s alleged \u201csex cult.\u201d<\/p>\n

The TMZ video showed Savage and Gardner shopping in Beverly Hills and Kramer, \u201cputting two and two together,\u201d descended on the ritzy Los Angeles district and located her daughter staying in a nearby hotel. She managed to contact her daughter using the front desk\u2019s phone, a moment captured in the above video.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe cried like a little girl just hurting for her mommy,\u201d Kramer said of the tearful reunion over the phone. \u201cI said, \u2018Baby, can I come back please?\u2019 And she said, \u2018Yes momma, come back at 6.’\u201d<\/p>\n

The final two episodes of the six-hour Surviving R. Kelly, \u201cAll the Missing Girls\u201d and \u201cBlack Girls Matter,\u201d premieres Saturday night on Lifetime. Previous episodes have featured testimonials from Kelly\u2019s victims<\/a> and a deep look in the singer\u2019s sex tape trial<\/a>.<\/p>\n
