Last year, Thom Yorke<\/a> released his first-ever film score<\/a>, a gorgeous, atmospheric set of new songs and instrumentals for director Luca Guadagnino\u2019s Suspiria<\/em>. Now the Radiohead<\/a> frontman is giving fans seven more tracks from those sessions as a limited-edition vinyl<\/a> release. Suspiria: Limited Edition Unreleased Material<\/em> is out on 12\u2033 vinyl on February 22nd, in a run of 1,500 copies.<\/p>\n

\u201cSuspirium,\u201d the excellently eerie single from the Suspiria<\/em> soundtrack, was recently shortlisted for the Academy Awards\u2019 Best Original Song category. In an interview with\u00a0Variety<\/em><\/a>, Yorke said he\u2019s hoping the song continues on to the next round: \u201cI mean, I hope it gets nominated,\u201d he said. \u201cThat would be great, because it was a year and a half in my life, and I worked bloody hard on it. So, you know, sometimes it\u2019s nice to be recognized. Sometimes, if you understand what it means.\u201d (He was less enthusiastic<\/a> about Radiohead\u2019s induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.)<\/p>\n

Most exciting for fans, Yorke has now repeatedly confirmed that he plans to release a new solo album in 2019.<\/p>\n
