Halsey<\/a> will make her return to Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a> as both host and musical guest on February 9th.<\/p>\n

The NBC series revealed the booking Saturday night, and the \u201cWithout Me\u201d singer shared the\u00a0news about her upcoming appearance\u00a0on social media (\u201choly fuck,\u201d she tweeted<\/a>) and teased her SNL\u00a0<\/em>host photo shoot.<\/p>\n

HOSTING & PERFORMING on @<\/s>nbcsnl<\/strong><\/a> ITS SATURDAY FUCKING NIGHT BABY,\u201d the singer tweeted<\/a>. \u201cI am really [too] excited to sleep. life is absolutely wild. thank you guys for the support. it\u2019s all the fuel my fire needs to make this 3rd album perfect. I\u2019m jumping in circles every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer born Ashley Frangipane made her SNL<\/em> debut in January 2018<\/a> following the first leg of her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom<\/em> tour. She recently returned to the show in November to perform alongside musical guest Lil\u2019 Wayne.<\/a><\/p>\n

Halsey\u2019s SNL\u00a0<\/em>appearance comes alongside news she unveiled earlier this week that\u00a0she\u2019s working on her third studio album.<\/a><\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter is set to make history as both host and musical guest, joining the ranks of artists like Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Drake, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n

Halsey recently played herself in the Oscar-nominated film\u00a0A Star Is Born<\/em><\/a>, posing as a musical presenter. While she has done voice work, Halsey has not yet acted on screen.<\/p>\n
