Boy George<\/a> and Culture Club<\/a> staged a candle-lit performance of their recent gospel-pop single \u201cLife\u201d<\/a> on Wednesday\u2019s Ellen<\/a><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The frontman belted the tune in a wide vibrato over palm-muted guitar stabs, smooth backing vocals and a laid-back rhythm section. \u201cWill you let me breathe now while I find my truth?\/ If I love myself, don\u2019t mean I don\u2019t love you,\u201d he sang on a stage lined with candles \u2014 including a digital one flickering behind him on a massive backdrop.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLife\u201d is the title-track from Culture Club\u2019s recently issued sixth LP<\/a>, their first record in 19 years. The album, which follows 1999\u2019s Don\u2019t Mind If I Do<\/em>, also includes the singles \u201cLet Somebody Love You\u201d and \u201cMore Than Silence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The band, who wrapped a massive North American tour<\/a> in October, have two international dates booked for April: the 11th at Switzerland\u2019s Zermatt Unplugged festival and the 13th in Vejle, Denmark.<\/span><\/p>\n
