{"id":481665,"date":"2019-02-01T07:33:38","date_gmt":"2019-02-01T14:33:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=788035"},"modified":"2019-02-01T07:33:38","modified_gmt":"2019-02-01T14:33:38","slug":"the-chemical-brothers-detail-new-lp-no-geography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kqzr\/music-news\/the-chemical-brothers-detail-new-lp-no-geography\/","title":{"rendered":"The Chemical Brothers Detail New LP \u2018No Geography\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/the-chemical-brothers\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-chemical-brothers\" data-tag=\"the-chemical-brothers\">The Chemical Brothers<\/a> have detailed their new album <em>No Geography<\/em> and shared the LP\u2019s latest single \u201cGot to Keep On.\u201d The album arrives April 12th via Astralwerks.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast to 2015\u2019s all-star <em>Born in the Echoes<\/em> \u2013 which boasted guests like Beck, St. Vincent and Q-Tip \u2013 <em>No Geography<\/em> only features Norwegian singer Aurora and Japanese rapper Nene as the Chemical Brothers returned to their roots, as evidenced by the ecstatic throwback \u201cGot to Keep On.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt some point during the recording of <em>No Geography<\/em>, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons pushed the reset button,\u201d Astralwerks said of the LP.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt began with the construction of a studio within a studio \u2013 a tiny makeshift room that housed the kind of kit they had previously used to record the bulk of their first two albums; equipment that had sat gathering (freestyle) dust in Tom\u2019s attic for the last 20 years.
