The new dates will see Seger and the Silver Bullet Band hit Detroit, New York, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Virginia Beach, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Springfield, Tulsa and North Charleston.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Roll Me Away Tour<\/em> (which was called the <em>Travelin\u2019 Man Tour<\/em> when Seger originally announced it) features a set of songs from throughout Seger\u2019s entire career, mixing big hits like \u201cStill The Same,\u201d \u201cNight Moves\u201d and \u201cHollywood Nights\u201d with lesser-known tunes like \u201cFace the Promise,\u201d \u201cLong Twin Silver Line\u201d and \u201cI\u2019ll Remember You.\u201d The Silver Bullet Band has gone through many incarnations over the years, but it still includes longtime members Alto Reed (saxophone), Chris Campbell (bass), Craig Frost (keyboards) and backup singers Shaun Murphy, Laura Creamer and Barbara Payton.<\/p>\n<p>Seger has yet to announce a final show of the tour, though these new dates finish up with a two-night stand at Detroit\u2019s DTE Energy Music Theater and it\u2019s hard to imagine him wrapping up his career anywhere but his hometown. He\u2019s done almost no interviews since announcing his final tour, but last year he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/hear-bob-seger-talk-about-his-health-scare-new-album-and-springsteen-199900\/\">did tell <em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> that he never dreamed his career would have lasted this long. \u201cI thought I\u2019d be done by 30,\u201d he said. \u201cMy original plan was to do it for five years between the age of 25 and 30 and then buy a motorcycle and drive across Europe, and then get a real job. It didn\u2019t work out that way.
