Say hello to Mr. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/paul-mccartney\/\" id=\"auto-tag_paul-mccartney\" data-tag=\"paul-mccartney\">Paul McCartney<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cunfinished business\u201d was a complete performance of \u201cI Saw Her Standing There,\u201d which the two tried to play together at a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band gig in Hyde Park in 2012 before the town pulled the plug midway through because they went past curfew. This time around, they made it through the entire thing, and you can see the performance right here. \u201c[It was] one of the most thrilling moments of my life,\u201d Van Zandt said in a statement. \u201cIt was an incredibly generous endorsement of my own work and just the encouragement my new artistic rebirth needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The amazing performance is just one tiny element of Van Zandt\u2019s new <em>Soulfire Live!<\/em> box set, drawn from 2017 stops on his ongoing comeback tour with the Disciples of Soul. The release is available in both seven-LP and two-disc Blu-ray editions. Among the many highlights are Bruce Springsteen guest appearances on \u201cTenth Avenue Freeze-Out\u201d and \u201cI Don\u2019t Want to Go Home,\u201d Peter Wolf joining the band for \u201cFreeze Frame,\u201d Richie Sambora coming out for \u201cCan I Get a Witness\u201d and Moby Grape\u2019s Jerry Milling sitting in on \u201cCan\u2019t Be So Bad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also a lunchtime set at the Cavern Club in Liverpool where the group played a special set packed with Beatles covers. \u201cWe decided to do a mini-tribute to the Beatles and do a lunchtime set at the Cavern the way they used to,\u201d Van Zandt said in a statement. \u201cPlaying in the same venue where the Beatles started their careers was a childhood dream of mine come true. This was a band that set me on course for a life of music. For my rock \u2018n\u2019 roll religion, the Cavern is the first sacred site.
