Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> has canceled his upcoming shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan, which were originally scheduled as part of his No More Tours 2<\/a> tour. The news follows his postponement of the UK and European leg<\/a> of the ongoing tour per doctors\u2019 orders.<\/p>\n

\u201cOzzy recently developed pneumonia and has spent some time in hospital. Thankfully he is now through the worst part,\u201d Sharon Osbourne said in a statement. \u201cHis doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for a full six weeks with no travel.\u201d<\/p>\n

The five dates canceled in Australia, New Zealand and Japan were to take place in March. He is expected to reschedule his postponed UK and European dates, which came following a diagnosis of an upper-respiratory infection, ostensibly in the fall.<\/p>\n

Last year, the singer was forced to postpone a handful of shows in the U.S. after contracting a staph infection<\/a>. Those concerts have been rescheduled<\/a> to take place in July.<\/p>\n

In the run-up to the tour kick-off, Osbourne told Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> that though the tour\u2019s name may suggest otherwise, he is not retiring. Instead, he plans to do short runs and one-off concerts as he sees fit. \u201cI\u2019m no good at anything else,\u201d he said. \u201cI literally can\u2019t do anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n
