Adams has denied the allegations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was living my life for him,\u201d the <em>This is Us<\/em> star, who met Adams when she 23, said. \u201cIt [was] an entirely unhealthy dynamic. Oh, I had no sense of self. I was imperceptible, I was so small in my own world.\u201d She described her feelings during their marriage as \u201cdrowning\u201d and added that \u201cit was so untenable and unsustainable and it was so lonely. I was so sad. I was lonely with him,\u201d which eventually led to the relationship\u2019s demise. She filed for divorce in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>In the <em>Times<\/em> article, Moore said Adams was \u201cpsychologically abusive\u201d and manipulated her career by discouraging her from working with other producers. \u201cHis controlling behavior essentially did block my ability to make new connections in the industry during a very pivotal and potentially lucrative time \u2014 my entire mid-to-late 20s,\u201d Moore told the\u00a0<em>Times<\/em>.
