LSD<\/a>, the supergroup featuring Labrinth, Sia<\/a> and Diplo<\/a>, close up their social circle on the playful new song, \u201cNo New Friends.\u201d The track will appear on the group\u2019s self-titled debut, out April 12th.<\/p>\n

On \u201cNo New Friends,\u201d Diplo crafts a thumping dance beat peppered with bouncy synth loops that cleverly descends into a bridge reminiscent of a boozy piano ballad. Sia and Labrinth deliver another delightful tag-team vocal performance, harmonizing on the hook, \u201cWe got our champagne dreams\/In an endless drought\/We are the kings and queens seeking our aces out\/We got all we need, no new friends now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo New Friends\u201d marks the latest in a steady drip of LSD singles, following \u201cGenius,\u201d<\/a> \u201cAudio,\u201d<\/a> \u201cThunderclouds\u201d<\/a> and \u201cMountains.\u201d<\/a> All five tracks will appear on LSD<\/em>, which is available to pre-order<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>, Labrinth spoke about how LSD came together and the unique creative outlet it has provided. \u201cWhen we got the chance to do LSD, we jumped at it, and it\u2019s one of the most creative projects I\u2019ve been involved in,\u201d he said. \u201cWe dress up in crazy outfits, mess around with Sgt. Pepper\u2019s<\/em>-esque visuals; we\u2019ve created animations for the band. You can be ballsy and be out there. It feels like you\u2019re not the frontman, so it allows us to go as crazy and as fucked up as we want to go. And that works for us.\u201d<\/p>\n
