They sang in unison for most of the song, with a harmony vocalist joining in during the final section.<\/p>\n<p>Oberst and Bridgers, who recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/watch-better-oblivion-community-center-sleepwalkin-corden-808571\/\">performed their original \u201cSleepwalkin\u201d on <em>The Late Late Show<\/em><\/a>, surprise-released their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/conor-oberst-phoebe-bridgers-better-oblivion-community-center-review-783284\/\">debut LP<\/a> in January. The pair <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/conor-oberst-phoebe-bridgers-better-oblivion-community-center-interview-783474\/\">told&nbsp;<em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> that the album originated from collaborative writing sessions <span class=\"s1\">\u2014 a first for both<\/span>. \u201cI\u2019d never had the experience of writing a full record with another songwriter like this,\u201d Oberst said. He added that the process \u201cwas just what the doctor ordered for me to get excited about music again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Better Oblivion Community Center launched their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/conor-oberst-phoebe-bridgers-better-oblivion-community-center-tour-785970\/\">North American tour<\/a> in early March.
