Karen O<\/a> and Danger Mouse<\/a> enlisted filmmaker Spike Jonze to direct a stunning performance of their new track \u201cWoman\u201d<\/a> on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert<\/a><\/em> Monday.<\/p>\n

Filmed in black-and-white, the production featured a troupe of dancers who flanked O with intricate choreography as she tore through the thumping cut. The performance boasted several clever flourishes, including a dance section that involved audience participation \u2013 Stephen Colbert even appeared among the crowd to join in \u2013 and a wild finale that found O jumping on top of a burned-out car.<\/p>\n

\u201cWoman\u201d appears on O and Danger Mouse\u2019s new collaborative album, Lux Prima<\/em><\/a>. For O, the album follows her 2014 solo debut, Crush Songs<\/em><\/a>, while the Yeah Yeah Yeahs released their last album, Mosquito<\/em><\/a>, in 2013. As for Danger Mouse, Lux Prima<\/em> marks his first album as an artist since the second Broken Bells album, After the Disco<\/em><\/a>, arrived in 2014. In recent years, however, he\u2019s continued to work as a producer for an array of artists including Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/a>, Parquet Courts<\/a>, U2<\/a> and A$AP Rocky<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Karen O and Danger Mouse will present Lux Prima<\/em> as an \u201cimmersive, communal listening experience\u201d at the Marciano Art Foundation<\/a> in Los Angeles, April 18th through the 21st.<\/p>\n
