Offset<\/a> and Travis Scott<\/a> tore through a performance of their new collaboration, \u201cLegacy\u201d on The Ellen<\/a> DeGeneres Show<\/em> Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cLegacy\u201d boasts a beat of gauzy synths that swirl around relentless trap drums, providing the perfect backdrop for Offset and Scott\u2019s woozy, auto-tuned bars. In front of a wall of flashing lights, the pair delivered their verses \u2013 ad libs and all \u2013 with breathless ease, Offset spitting, \u201cI\u2019m from the bando, my daddy had abandoned me\/Momma tried to cover up and bandage me\/I\u2019m the first one to lead the whole legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLegacy\u201d appears on Offset\u2019s new album, Father of 4<\/em><\/a>, the Migos MC\u2019s first as a solo artist. In 2017, he teamed with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin for the collaborative album, Without Warning<\/em>, while in 2018 Migos released their most recent album, Culture II<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
