The full lineup is available on the festival\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/afropunkfest.com\/brooklyn\/line-up\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">General admission and VIP tickets are <a href=\"http:\/\/afropunkfest.com\/brooklyn\/tickets\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">on sale<\/a> now, while Afropunk is also bringing back its earned ticket program, Afropunk Army. The social justice-oriented initiative allows fans to join Afropunk\u2019s volunteer corps and perform volunteer work in exchange for a festival ticket (a minimum of eight hours equals one GA ticket). Afropunk Army\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/afropunkfest.com\/brooklyn\/tickets\/earn-a-ticket\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">summer session<\/a> will launch in May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Along with its tacked lineup, the Afropunk will also bring back its annual Battle of the Bands (submissions open April 29th), the Spin Thrift Market and a series of talks based around \u201cSolution Sessions,\u201d the people\u2019s forum-turned-podcast (talks will be held August 23rd and 24th).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Afropunk also announced that its 2019 theme would be \u201cWe See You.\u201d In a statement, the festival said, \u201cThere is power in acknowledgment, a recognition and acceptance that begins with seeing.
