The band, a collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/conor-oberst\/\" id=\"auto-tag_conor-oberst\" data-tag=\"conor-oberst\">Conor Oberst<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/phoebe-bridgers\/\" id=\"auto-tag_phoebe-bridgers\" data-tag=\"phoebe-bridgers\">Phoebe Bridgers<\/a>, reimagined the <em>A Star Is Born<\/em> track during a performance at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n<p>In the clip, which was shot <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brooklynvegan.com\/watch-phoebe-bridgers-conor-oberst-do-shallow-full-song-video-w-nick-zinner\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">by Brooklyn Vegan<\/a>, the pair are joined onstage by Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs on guitar. Bridgers takes on the Lady Gaga lines while Oberst channels his best Bradley Cooper for an emotional, indie rock rendition of the song.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShallow\u201d is one of several covers Better Oblivion Community Center has done recently on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/conor-oberst-phoebe-bridgers-better-oblivion-community-center-tour-785970\/\">spring tour<\/a>, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/conor-oberst-phoebe-bridgers-death-cab-for-cutie-809924\/\">Death Cab For Cutie\u2019s<\/a> \u201cTitle and Registration.\u201d The pair dropped their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/conor-oberst-phoebe-bridgers-better-oblivion-community-center-review-783284\/\">self-titled album<\/a> in February as a surprise.
