Broken Social Scene<\/a> has released \u201cBig Couches,\u201d the second track off the band\u2019s upcoming EP Let\u2019s Try the After<\/em> \u2013 Vol. 2.<\/em> The musicians previously released single<\/a> \u201cCan\u2019t Find My Heart,\u201d a swirling indie rock number, which will also appear on the upcoming EP. The new song was released as the 33rd installment of the Adult Swim Singles<\/a> program ahead of the EP.<\/p>\n

\u201cBig Couches\u201d distorts the band\u2019s signature indie sound with Auto-Tuned vocal effects, but stays in line with their usual propulsive beats, shimmering guitar riffs and surging choruses, all of which are presented in an experimental package.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s Try the After<\/em> \u2013 Vol. 2,<\/em> the second part<\/a> of a pair, will be released April 12 via Arts & Crafts Records. Both editions of Let\u2019s Try The After<\/em> will be packaged together as a combined release in honor of Record Store Day, which takes place April 13.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Broken Social Scene released<\/a> a Valentine\u2019s Day single called \u201cBoyfriends.\u201d The band will tour North America this spring, with dates in Toronto, New York, Montreal, Los Angeles and Seattle, before heading to Europe for a summer run.<\/p>\n
