Fresh off a best-selling capsule collection inspired by Led Zeppelin<\/a>, sneaker brand Vans<\/a> is paying tribute to another rock icon, with a new collection of shoes, apparel and accessories that pay homage to David Bowie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Vans x Bowie collection<\/a> celebrates the late singer\u2019s artistic legacy, with pieces that reference the artwork from some of Bowie\u2019s most iconic albums, including \u201cSpace Oddity,\u201d \u201cZiggy Stardust\u201d and \u201cHunky Dory.\u201d Prices range from $26 for an \u201cAladdin Sane\u201d-inspired T-shirt<\/a>, to $85 for the Vans x DB Sk8-Hi Platform sneaker<\/a> \u2013 one of six sneaker styles available in the collection. Pieces are available for men, women, kids and toddlers.<\/p>\n

Among the standout pieces: the Vans X DB Sk8-Hi sneaker<\/a>, which combines the legendary Vans high-top with custom red Bowie lettering and the iconic Vans checkerboard print. Each pair of shoes features Vans\u2019 signature rubber waffle outsoles, and comes in a collectible Vans x Bowie shoebox. The unisex shoes are available in men\u2019s sizes 4 to 13.<\/p>\n

The \u201cAladdin Sane\u201d shirt, meantime, features Bowie\u2019s memorable lightning bolt headshot taken from the 1973 album\u2019s original cover art<\/a>. The unisex tee is available in sizes small to XXL.<\/p>\n

Vans says the collection \u201ccelebrates two entities who have championed the different and the strange for decades, leaving a lasting impression on generations of misfits.\u201d The limited-edition collection is available online now at Vans.com<\/a> and at Opening Ceremony<\/a>.<\/p>\n
