The streams of over eighty acts at the festival will be available on YouTube\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/coachella\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Coachella channel<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/music.youtube.com\/channel\/UCHF66aWLOxBW4l6VkSrS3cQ\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube Music app<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This year, YouTube Music announced it was \u201cturning it up a notch.\u201d What that means is, the first weekend (April 12th-14th) will include a premiere of festival headliner Childish Gambino\u2019s new film \u201cGuava Island,\u201d featuring Rihanna. Viewers will have their choice of three simultaneous live stream feeds throughout the weekend, with a new feature that will allow users to create a \u201cpersonalized viewing schedule\u201d and flip to their most anticipated acts automatically.<\/p>\n<p>YouTube will also stream Coachella\u2019s second weekend for the first time ever, on April 19th-21st, with a somewhat different viewing experience.&nbsp;<em>Coachella Curated<\/em>, hosted by radio personality Jason Bentley from Santa Monica\u2019s NPR affiliate KCRW, \u201cwill take a deep dive into the festival experience and deliver fans a slate of original content \u2013 encore and live performances, artist commentary, mini-docs, animated adventures and more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Coachella announcement is the latest push from YouTube to craft its music content into a communal user experience, in the same vein of live-broadcasted performances on television and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/music-video\/\" id=\"auto-tag_music-video\" data-tag=\"music-video\">music video<\/a> \u201cpremiere\u201d events during MTV\u2019s heyday.
