Taylor Swift<\/a>, Lady Gaga<\/a> and BTS<\/a> highlight Time<\/em>\u2018s list of 2019\u2019s \u201c100 Most Influential People.\u201d<\/a> The newly unveiled collection is organized into \u201cTitans,\u201d \u201cIcons,\u201d \u201cLeaders,\u201d \u201cArtists\u201d and \u201cPioneers,\u201d showcasing important figures in music, entertainment, politics, sports and business, among other fields.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each selection features a blurb written by another prominent person. Shawn Mendes, who opened a run of stadium shows on Swift\u2019s 1989<\/em> World Tour, wrote<\/a> about how the singer-songwriter \u201cmakes the job of creating music for millions of people look easy.\u201d He noted, \u201cIt all comes from her \u2014 her belief in magic and love, and her ability to be as honest and raw as possible. She\u2019s the master of putting the perfect amount of thought into not overthinking, and that\u2019s why her music connects so well.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Celine Dion wrote<\/a> about Lady Gaga, praising her for supporting the LGBTQ community, campaigning to end bullying and for having \u201cone of the greatest voices in the world: powerful, convincing, passionate and sensitive.\u201d Dion added, \u201cShe\u2019s definitely one of the most inventive artists we\u2019ve ever seen.
