Last year, Imogen Heap recorded a version of the song for the live music virtual reality experience, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=d-p8w2EU9SA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">TheWaveVR<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo happy to be releasing dear \u2018Guitar Song\u2019 with Guy, as Frou Frou. Our first in over 15 years and with the awesome label, We Are Hear,\u201d Heap said in a statement. \u201cWe never really got to tour as Frou Frou that much but we are making up for it and opening every show on this world tour we are on with this song.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sigsworth joked about the song\u2019s name, while describing its style. \u201cGuitar Song: it\u2019s a song \u2013 with guitar! Easy, breezy and summery,\u201d he added in a statement. \u201cLike Jo\u00e3o Gilberto playing shoegazer music. Or something.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGuitar Song (Live)\u201d is the duo\u2019s first new music in 15 years and follows the announcement of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/imogen-heap-frou-frou-reunion-2019-north-american-tour-767034\/\">Mycelia World Tour<\/a>, a trek that includes performances, talks and workshops that work to promote a future with \u201cartist-led, fair and sustainable operating practices\u201d via \u201cCreative Passport.\u201d Created by Mycelia, Heap\u2019s technology-driven research and development hub, \u201cCreative Passport\u201d aims to verify and link music makers\u2019 digital footprint across all platforms in one spot, which will in turn aid in streamlining their business processes.
