Ariana Grande<\/a> performed a glitzy \u201c7 Rings\u201d at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards<\/a> on Wednesday. The Thank U, Next<\/em> single \u2014 cleverly interpolated with \u201cMy Favorite Things\u201d from The Sound of Musi<\/em>c \u2014 has spent the last 14 weeks on the charts.<\/p>\n

Similar to her performance last year at the BBMAs<\/a>\u2014in which Grande surfaced from beneath the stage strewn across umbrellas\u2014the pop singer was lifted onto the stage by a graffitied car. \u201cRather be tied up with calls and not strings\/
Write my own checks like I write what I sing,\u201d she belted, surrounded by her backup dancers basked in pink fluorescent lights.<\/p>\n

A sea of screaming arianators<\/em> sang every word along with Grande, gleefully chanting \u201cI see it, I like it, I want it, I got it\u201d over and over. (Unlike last year, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift and Camila Cabello were not seen dancing and mouthing the lyrics in their seats.)<\/p>\n

Grande also performed \u201cBe Alright,\u201d which aired exclusively online via T-Mobile. Three years later, the Dangerous Woman<\/em> track still holds up, as Grande pranced around the stage in her thigh-high white boots, signature ponytail swinging side to side.<\/p>\n
