The Raconteurs<\/a> released the new video for \u201cHelp Me Stranger,\u201d the latest single off the reunited band\u2019s upcoming LP Help Us Stranger<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The video, directed by Yasuhiko Shimizu, finds Jack White, Brendan Benson and company performing the track in the studio and posing for what appears to be promotional photos. A strange subplot sees White finding an abandoned baby in front of a shuttered store in Kitmitsu, Japan \u2013 the Raconteurs filmed the video last month while touring Japan \u2013 and Benson making telephone calls in a green-lit room.<\/p>\n

The Raconteurs previously shared their cover of Donovan\u2019s \u201cHey Gyp (Dig the Slowness)<\/a>\u201d from Help Us Stranger, their first LP since 2008\u2019s Consolers of the Lonely<\/em>, and debuted a few new album tracks, including \u201cHelp Me Stranger\u201d at the Third Man 10th anniversary celebration<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The band have also announced a special independent record store edition of Help Us Stranger<\/em> complete with an exclusive white vinyl, an alternate cover and hand screen printed LP jacket, \u201cas well as a limited quantity of strictly promotional, never-available-for-sale 7-inch test pressings of \u2018Hey Gyp (Dig The Slowness).’\u201d The Raconteurs previously announced a massive Third Man Vault edition of the LP<\/a>, which is due out June 21st.<\/p>\n

The Raconteurs will also embark on their first North American tour in eight years<\/a> this summer, a trek that may<\/a> or may not<\/a> include a stop at Woodstock 50.<\/p>\n
