Lany<\/a> and Julia Michaels<\/a> have shared the music video<\/a> for their single \u201cOkay.\u201d In the gorgeous new clip, Michaels and Lany lead singer Paul Klein each wander around the Santa Monica beachfront in solitude. They both end up at a roller derby, skating around and observing a masked dancer under a giant disco ball. The melancholy visual is a fitting accompaniment to the pair\u2019s contemplative breakup track, while also referencing its crisp, summery guitar line.<\/p>\n

Of the writing of the song, Michaels told<\/a> Zane Lowe of Beats 1, \u201cIt was a pretty intense day \u2026 There was a point where [Paul] looked at me, very serious, and said, \u2018I\u2019m going to be okay, right?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018Oof, we have to write this.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Lany are currently in the midst of a headlining world tour, in support of their 2018 album Malibu Nights<\/em>, with upcoming summer shows in the U.S. and Canada. They previously released the singles \u201cThick and Thin,\u201d<\/a> \u201cIf You See Her\u201d<\/a> and \u201cMalibu Nights.\u201d<\/a> Michaels recently was an opener on Pink\u2019s tour, which wrapped up this month.<\/p>\n
