The band also shared the spooky lead single, \u201cOn Graveyard Hill,\u201d with an animated visual.<\/p>\n<p>Per a press release, Pixies\u2019 eighth studio album will feature 12 songs dealing with \u201cwitches, Daniel Boone, misfits\u201d and other haunted subject matters. It was produced by Tom Dalgety, who was nominated for a Best Rock Album Grammy this year for his production on the Ghost album <em>Prequelle<\/em>, and a Best Rock Song nomination for&nbsp;<em>Prequelle<\/em> track \u201cRats.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pixies will also debut a 12-episode podcast titled <em>It\u2019s a Pixies Podcast<\/em> (formerly titled <em>Past Is Prologue, Pixies<\/em>) on June 27th; each episode will dive into the songwriting, recording and production of each track on <em>Beneath the Eyrie<\/em>. The podcast will be narrated and hosted by British music journalist Tony Fletcher.<\/p>\n<p>The band kicks off a world tour in support of <em>Beneath the Eyrie<\/em> on August 31st, at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/the-cure\">The Cure\u2019s<\/a> Daydream Festival in Pasadena, California, before playing in Europe and the U.K. throughout the fall.
