Motionless In White’s new album ‘Disguise’ is out today – and it comes from a very intensely personal place for frontman Chris Motionless. During the recording process, Chris confronted aspects of his mental health and his demons that he’d avoided through the previous album cycles – but that stopped with ‘Disguise’.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough making this record, I definitely recognised how deep some of the issues that I have go,\u201d<\/em> Chris shared. \u201cWhen you keep things bottled up in your head, you get that tunnel vision and focus on it in a very different way. When you can either talk about them to somebody or write them down for yourself, it gives you a more even perception. I think that\u2019s something that people don\u2019t utilise enough – they keep everything inside until it all comes to this explosion moment. My biggest revelation would be to encourage people that, if they\u2019re feeling that way, they need to either sit down and either write it out, just in straight diary or journal form, or seek help, try and talk to somebody.”<\/em><\/p>\n

He added “I tried to incorporate therapy into my life over the process of this record, and that\u2019s something I\u2019ve spoken not very highly of in the past, because I didn\u2019t believe in it. But I\u2019ve tried it, and found it a great tool as well. The longer it all stays in there, the more harm it\u2019s going to do.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
