Keb\u2019 Mo\u2019 has shared a video advocating against single-use plastic using his track \u201cDon\u2019t Throw It Away\u201d with Taj Mahal<\/a>. The song features on singer\u2019s just-released new album Oklahoma<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The \u201cDon\u2019t Throw It Away\u201d visual features Mo\u2019 strumming the blues in a chair alongside images of landfills, oceans and the effects of what happens when single-use plastic isn\u2019t recycled. \u201cI use it all the time, I must confess,\u201d he sings of plastic on the track. \u201cBut if I care a little more, I\u2019ll use a little less.\u201d<\/p>\n

The music industry has been vocal about its fight against single-use plastic<\/a> with touring artists using their influence to persuade festival organizers to stray from it. Alongside Mo\u2019, artists including Maroon 5, Dawes, Jackson Browne and Ben Harper have \u201creduced plastic pollution on tour through both practices on the road and policies in their riders for venues, and some talk directly to concertgoers about the issue.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oklahoma<\/em>, the bluesman\u2019s 13th album, arrived Friday boasting the tracks \u201cI Remember You<\/a>\u201d and the Rosanne Cash collaboration \u201cPut a Woman in Charge<\/a>.\u201d The record follows the 2017 collaborative LP TajMo<\/em>, which Mo\u2019 made with Mahal.<\/p>\n
