After two back-to-back live tapings at Austin\u2019s Moody Theater, the band will hit Grand Rapids on November 4th. They\u2019ll make stops in major cities \u2014 from Pittsburgh to Denver, before wrapping up in Omaha on November 20th. They\u2019re also set to play their very own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/wilco-sky-blue-sky-festival-mexico-835640\/\">Sky Blue Sky Festival<\/a> in Mexico in January.<\/p>\n<p>Not only is this Wilco\u2019s first North American tour since 2017, its also marks their return from their year-long hiatus, which the band took when drummer Glenn Kotche\u2019s wife Miiri was awarded a Fulbright scholarship. In that time, frontman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/jeff-tweedy\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jeff-tweedy\" data-tag=\"jeff-tweedy\">Jeff Tweedy<\/a> has released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/wilcos-jeff-tweedy-talks-memoir-addiction-uncle-tupelo-trump-761726\/\">a memoir<\/a> and two solo albums.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think [the hiatus] revitalized everyone\u2019s energy for the band, and our interest in pushing forward and not just resting on some past output,\u201d Tweedy <a href=\"http:\/\/%E2%80%9CI%20think%20%5Bthe%20hiatus%5D%20revitalized%20everyone%E2%80%99s%20energy%20for%20the%20band,%20and%20our%20interest%20in%20pushing%20forward%20and%20not%20just%20resting%20on%20some%20past%20output.%20Everybody%20in%20the%20band%20is%20pretty%20ambitious.%20It%E2%80%99s%20good%20to%20let%20go%20of%20something%20that%E2%80%99s%20a%20huge,%20identifying%20part%20of%20your%20life,%20and%20realize%20that%20you%20still%20have%20deep%20affection%20for%20it%20and%20a%20deep%20interest%20in%20having%20it%20be%20a%20living,%20breathing%20entity%20capable%20of%20surprising%20you.%E2%80%9D\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">recently told<\/a> <em>Rolling Stone.<\/em> \u201cEverybody in the band is pretty ambitious.
