Lil Nas X\u2019s \u201cPanini,\u201d which debuted at Number Four on the Top 100 last week, fell to Number Six.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<em>Rolling Stone<\/em>&nbsp;Top 100 chart tracks the most popular songs of the week in the United States. Songs are ranked by Song Units, a number that combines audio streams and song sales using a custom weighting system. The chart does not include passive listening like terrestrial radio or digital radio.&nbsp;The&nbsp;<em>Rolling Stone<\/em>&nbsp;Top 100 chart is updated daily, and each week&nbsp;<em>Rolling Stone<\/em>&nbsp;finalizes and publishes an official version of the chart, covering the seven-day period ending with the previous Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>While the upper portion of the Top 100 remained relatively stagnant during the holiday week, several singles are rising quickly outside of the Top Ten. Lil Tecca\u2019s breakout hit, the chirpy \u201cRansom,\u201d rose to Number 14 on the strength of 14.7 million streams. Blanco Brown\u2019s country-dance hit \u201cThe Git Up,\u201d which has become a popular soundtrack for videos on the app TikTok, was close behind \u201cRansom\u201d at Number 15. \u201cThe Git Up\u201d has half as many weekly streams as \u201cRansom,\u201d but Brown\u2019s single is selling well \u2014 close to 115,000 downloads so far this year.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/j-balvin\/\" id=\"auto-tag_j-balvin\" data-tag=\"j-balvin\">J Balvin<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/bad-bunny\/\" id=\"auto-tag_bad-bunny\" data-tag=\"bad-bunny\">Bad Bunny<\/a> launched three different songs on to the Top 100 this week, all from their new collaborative album <em>Oasis<\/em>: The single \u201cQue Pretendes\u201d (Number 31, 7.7 million streams) plus the album cuts \u201cLa Canci<span>\u00f3<\/span>n\u201d (Number 50, 6.3 million streams) and \u201cMojaita\u201d (Number 100, 4.5 million streams).<\/p>\n<p>Next week Lil Nas X\u2019s reign at Number One might be threatened by Post Malone\u2019s new single, \u201cGoodbyes\u201d featuring Young Thug.
