The track was temporarily dethroned last week by a strong opening week for Post Malone\u2019s \u201cGoodbyes\u201d featuring Young Thug. But \u201cOld Town Road\u201d bounced back thanks to 21.1 million streams. \u201cGoodbyes\u201d dropped two spots to Number Three.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<em>Rolling Stone<\/em>&nbsp;Top 100 chart tracks the most popular songs of the week in the United States. Songs are ranked by Song Units, a number that combines audio streams and song sales using a custom weighting system. The chart does not include passive listening like terrestrial radio or digital radio. The&nbsp;<em>Rolling Stone<\/em>&nbsp;Top 100 chart is updated daily, and each week&nbsp;<em>Rolling Stone<\/em>&nbsp;finalizes and publishes an official version of the chart, covering the seven-day period ending with the previous Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The big winner on the latest Top 100 is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/ed-sheeran\/\" id=\"auto-tag_ed-sheeran\" data-tag=\"ed-sheeran\">Ed Sheeran<\/a>, who debuts seven new songs from his <em>No.6 Collaborations Project<\/em>. Two of those landed inside the Top 20: \u201cSouth of the Border,\u201d which accumulated 10.2 million streams, and \u201cRemember the Name,\u201d which racked up 8.2 million streams.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/q07RanslaGM?version=3&amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;origin=https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sheeran\u2019s seven new entries join four of his older songs on the Top 100, so he singlehandedly accounts for 11 percent of the chart. Last week, the Dreamville Records compilation <em>Revenge of the Dreamers III&nbsp;<\/em>was in a similar spot, with 12 different tracks on the Top 100. This week, however, nine of those 12 fell off the chart.
