HELLA. MEGA. TOUR.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Here we fucking go. If you’ve been on the internet in any capacity over the past week, you’ll have seen that there are three words on the tip of everyone’s tongues: Hella<\/a>. Mega<\/a>. Tour<\/a>. <\/p>\n

It’s no longer a rumour – Green Day<\/strong>, Fall Out Boy<\/strong> and Weezer<\/strong> are teaming up for a world tour, and they’re taking The Interrupters<\/strong> along for the ride!<\/p>\n

But the news doesn’t stop there. Oh no. <\/p>\n

All three bands have today announced albums, AND have each released a single. We’re talking a new Green Day album and single<\/a>, a new Fall Out Boy album and single, and a new Weezer album and single. <\/p>\n

The frontmen of all three bands joined Zane Lowe on Apple Music\u2019s Beats 1 to announce, well… all of the news. <\/p>\n

“It’s kind of a Green Day idea,”<\/em> Billie Joe Armstrong shared about the Hella Mega Tour concept. “We talked about how we weren’t really wanting to do stadiums, and do something that was like [a] throwback to Monsters of Rock Tour.  There was, of course, Fall Out Boy and Weezer, and now we’re stoked.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“I think this tour represents counter-programming,”<\/em> added Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz. “I think that the world is moving in one direction in an obvious way, or whatever. I think that this tour represents counter programming to that and it’s awesome to take part in that and be a small part of it.”<\/em><\/p>\n

This is pretty much destined to be the<\/em> tour of the decade. Check out the full list of tour dates below:<\/p>\n
