At The Disco<\/strong>&#8216;s Brendon Urie, <strong>Fall Out Boy<\/strong>&#8216;s Pete Wentz and <strong>Green Day<\/strong>&#8216;s Mike Dirnt.<\/p>\n<p>They, along with fellow ambassadors <strong>Avril Lavigne<\/strong>, <strong>Chris Stapleton<\/strong> and <strong>Ashley McBryde<\/strong>, will participate in foundation initivatives through 2019 and 2020 including <em>&#8220;surprise instrument drops and meet and greets, donating signed gear and memorabilia for auction, appearing at galas and helping guide the foundation\u2019s overall direction&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Hang on &#8211; surprise appearances by Brendon, Pete and Mike dropping off instruments to youth groups? Incredible scenes.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of the project, Brendon Urie said <em>&#8220;I\u2019m excited to team up with the Fender Play Foundation to support the next generation of shredders. Growing up in Vegas my music mentors and education were such a huge influence on my life, I hope through partnering with Fender, that I can help do the same for young musicians!&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The charity aims to raise $3m over the next three years for educational institutions and organisations. Fender will donate&nbsp;$1 million&nbsp;initially with support for music education programs beginning across Los Angeles, Nashville and&nbsp;Scottsdale with plans to expand to more cities and programs next year. Fender will also donate to the artists&#8217; various affiliate charities,&nbsp;including the Boys &amp; Girls Club-affiliated non-profit&nbsp;Notes for Notes.
