Her and her father then recorded \u201cFar Away Places\u201d together at Chris\u2019 home studio in Miami in February 2017, just three months before Chris\u2019 death.<\/p>\n<p>The now-15-year-old Toni Cornell previously lent the song as the foundation for the short film <em>Far Away Places<\/em>, which is currently touring the film festival circuit.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the song\u2019s sale on digital music services will be donated to the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2017, following the deaths of both Chris Cornell and Linkin Park\u2019s Chester Bennington, Toni Cornell paid tribute to the singers by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/watch-chris-cornells-daughter-sing-hallelujah-for-father-and-chester-bennington-195977\/\">performing Leonard Cohen\u2019s \u201cHallelujah\u201d<\/a> alongside OneRepublic on <em>Good Morning America<\/em>.
