On the track, the singer croons, \u201cHere\u2019s to the ones that we got\/ Cheers to the wish you were here, but you\u2019re not\/ \u2018Cause the drinks bring back all the memories of everything we\u2019ve been through\/ Toast to ones here today\/ Toast to the ones here today\/ Toast to the ones that we lost on the way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis song is for anyone who has ever experienced loss,\u201d Levine <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/adamlevine\/status\/1174930865752694784\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">shared on Twitter along with the new song.<\/a>&nbsp;\u201cIn other words, this song is for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maroon 5\u2019s last album, <em>Red Pill Blues<\/em>, dropped in 2017. The band performed at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/maroon-5-super-bowl-halftime-show-2019-726376\/\">Super Bowl LIII halftime show<\/a> earlier this year. Their last big hit was a remix \u201cGirls Like You,\u201d off <em>Red Pill Blues<\/em>, which featured Cardi B.
