The Black Keys<\/a> welcomed surprise guest and Sin City icon Wayne Newton onstage to perform \u201cLonely Boy\u201d during the band\u2019s set at Las Vegas\u2019 Life Is Beautiful.<\/p>\n

The crooner dubbed \u201cMr. Las Vegas\u201d \u2013 Newton has performed over 30,000 gigs on the Vegas Strip, including a current residency at Caesars Palace \u2013 adeptly handled the chorus of the 2011 hit.<\/p>\n

The Newton guest appearance closed out the Black Keys<\/a>\u2019 Life Is Beautiful set, the official first show of the band\u2019s Let\u2019s Rock Tour<\/a>, their first trek in five years; on Thursday night, the Black Keys played a fan club-only gig at Los Angeles\u2019 Wiltern, a concert that found hundreds of fans being turned away<\/a> at the venue\u2019s door after purchasing tickets through a third-party vendor.<\/p>\n
