{"id":490514,"date":"2019-09-25T09:13:17","date_gmt":"2019-09-25T15:13:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=890239"},"modified":"2019-09-25T09:13:17","modified_gmt":"2019-09-25T15:13:17","slug":"mac-miller-second-man-arrested-in-connection-with-rappers-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kqzr\/music-news\/mac-miller-second-man-arrested-in-connection-with-rappers-death\/","title":{"rendered":"Mac Miller: Second Man Arrested in Connection With Rapper\u2019s Death"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Authorities have arrested and charged a second man in connection with the death of the rapper <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/mac-miller\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mac-miller\" data-tag=\"mac-miller\">Mac Miller<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ryan Reavis, a 36-year-old resident of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with fraud and drug and gun possession, according to a statement from the Lake Havasu Police Department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">During a search of Reavis\u2019 home, investigators discovered a prescription pad, prescription-only pills, drug paraphernalia and marijuana. They also uncovered and seized a pistol, two shotguns, a homemade firearm suppressor and lots of ammunition. Police, however, did not say how exactly Reavis is connected to Miller and his death.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_890265\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-890265\" class=\"wp-image-890265 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/RyanReavis.jpg?w=240\" alt width=\"240\" height=\"300\"><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-890265\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ryan Reavis<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\">Reavis is currently being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond has been transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Lake Havasu PD\u2019s Special Investigations Unit carried out the arrest and search with agents from the DEA and FBI. The DEA is leading the investigation into Mac Miller\u2019s death, and Reavis\u2019 arrest comes several weeks after federal prosecutors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/mac-miller-man-in-death-880057\/\">charged Cameron James Pettit<\/a> with providing Miller counterfeit pills that contained fentanyl. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/mac-miller-dead-at-26-720756\/\">Miller\u2019s 2018 death<\/a> was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/mac-miller-cause-of-death-fentanyl-cocaine-alcohol-751974\/\">ruled an accidental overdose<\/a> and an autopsy found fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol in his system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Representatives for the DEA and FBI did not immediately return <em>Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/mac-miller-death-arrest-ryan-reavis-890239\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Rolling Stone<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Authorities have arrested and charged a second man in connection with the death of the rapper Mac Miller.
