The pair combined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/depeche-mode\/\" id=\"auto-tag_depeche-mode\" data-tag=\"depeche-mode\">Depeche Mode<\/a>\u2019s 1981 song \u201cI Just Can\u2019t Get Enough\u201d with Charli and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/icona-pop\/\" id=\"auto-tag_icona-pop\" data-tag=\"icona-pop\">Icona Pop<\/a>\u2019s 2012 single \u201cI Love It,\u201d written by Charli XCX and considered her breakout hit.<\/p>\n<p>The performance begins with Fallon, dressed in a leather jacket with plenty of pomade in his hair, singing into a microphone while being broadcast over an Eighties-era color television screen. Fallon sings the first verse of \u201cI Just Can\u2019t Get Enough\u201d before the camera pans over to Charli, live on the <em>Tonight Show&nbsp;<\/em>soundstage, as she sings \u201cI Love It\u201d over the Depeche Mode backing track. The two performers then come together to sing the mashup in front of the clapping studio audience.<\/p>\n<p>Charli XCX, who also recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/christine-and-the-queens-charli-xcx-gone-fallon-885733\/\">performed \u201cGone\u201d on <em>The Tonight Show<\/em><\/a>,&nbsp; released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/charli-xcx-new-album-tour-882995\/\">her third studio album<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/charli-xcx-lp-icona-pop-iggy-azalea-883446\/\"><em>Charli<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;this past month.
