Halsey<\/a> celebrated her 25th birthday Sunday with the surprise release of the new video for \u201cClementine,\u201d the latest single off her upcoming album Manic<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The visual, choreographed and co-directed by Dani Vitale, finds the singer born Ashley Frangipane and her brother Sevian dancing inside the viewing gallery of an aquarium, with the large blue fish tank serving as a background for the almost-vaudevillian routine.<\/p>\n

\u201cClementine\u201d follows the release of the Manic<\/em> single \u201cGraveyard<\/a>\u201c; the singer\u2019s third album is due out January 17th, 2020.<\/p>\n

In Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>\u2018s June cover story, Halsey said that her new album is the first one she\u2019s ever written while manic. The album is a sampling of \u201chip-hop, rock, country, fucking everything \u2014 because it\u2019s so manic,\u201d she explained. \u201cIt\u2019s soooooo manic. It\u2019s literally just, like, whatever the fuck I felt like making; there was no reason I couldn\u2019t make it.\u201d<\/p>\n

In support of her new album, Halsey will embark on the (Manic) World Tour beginning in Europe in February 2020. The singer also recently covered Cyndi Lauper\u2019s \u201cTime After Time\u201d<\/a> for the In Memoriam portion of the 2019 Emmy Awards.<\/p>\n
