To celebrate 10 years since its initial release, Enter Shikari<\/strong> are re-pressing and re-releasing their 2009 album ‘Common Dreads’ on vinyl, in a very small run.<\/p>\n

Back in 2009 Shikari pressed 1,000 units of ‘Common Dreads’, which sold out super quickly and have been highly sought after by collectors pretty much ever since. The re-pressing of ‘Common Dreads’ is on a glow in the dark green and red splatter vinyl, matching the album artwork – and there’s only 1,500 being made. <\/p>\n

“Common Dreads has been out of print on vinyl for over a decade, and to be honest we\u2019re fed up with the constant whinging for us to do a repress. So, here it bloody well is,” shared Enter Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds. \u201cIn all seriousness, we\u2019re really happy to be able to revisit this album. It feels quite prescient, looking back on all that\u2019s happened in the world since. We addressed some of the same crucial global problems that increasingly plague us today. People who didn\u2019t understand the lyrics of ‘Take To The Skies’ thought that ‘Common Dreads’ was our first record with political commentary when it was actually just our first with an overt political commentary. We\u2019d love to be able to say that it\u2019s not worth repressing this album because it\u2019s not relevant anymore. But. Sadly\u2026”<\/p>\n

The 10th anniversary edition of ‘Common Dreads’ comes with a bonus 7\u201d single featuring the tracks \u2018Tribalism\u2019 and \u2018Thumper\u2019 from their 2010 compilation \u2018Tribalism\u2019 which have never been on vinyl before, and a \u2018Common Dreads\u2019 poster.<\/p>\n
