As the beat unfolds into a seductive groove, she begs the question in the chorus: \u201cAin\u2019t I the best you had?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>King Princess, a.k.a. 20-year-old Mikaela Straus, had been <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KingPrincess69\/status\/1179140268257370115?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">teasing the song<\/a> on social media over the last few days, describing it as \u201cthe anthem for bottoms everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHit the Back\u201d is the fourth release off <em>Cheap Queen<\/em>, following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/king-princess-new-track-aint-together-featuring-father-john-misty-879535\/\">\u201cAin\u2019t Together,\u201d<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/king-princess-prophet-video-868533\/\">\u201cProphet\u201d<\/a> and the synth-heavy title track.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B3JQZVWJ418\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"12\" readability=\"-6.9494680851064\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>Starting tomorrow, King Princess will hit the road in support of <em>Cheap Queen<\/em>, starting a Austin City Limits Festival. She\u2019ll make stops in major cities throughout 2020, playing two nights at New York\u2019s Terminal 5 on November 1st and 2nd and a pair of shows at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on January 24th and 25th.
