We marked 10 years since&nbsp;<strong>blink-182<\/strong>&nbsp;frontman Mark Hoppus shaved off Pete Wentz&#8217; emo tresses during&nbsp;<strong>Fall Out Boy<\/strong>&#8216;s encore at Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n<p>Gone was the signature emo fringe, in one swift motion of Hoppus&#8217; clippers. And lo, it came to pass that the loss of Pete&#8217;s emo fringe also marked the end of another era &#8211; it was the last set that Fall Out Boy would perform for four years.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s right, the loss of Pete&#8217;s hair was actually a visual metaphor for our loss of Fall Out Boy, and it was their last set before they announced their hiatus.<\/p>\n<p>During Fall Out Boy&#8217;s signature set closer &#8216;Saturday&#8217;, one of their crew took over bass duties, while Mark Hoppus joined the band on stage and just&#8230; shaved Pete&#8217;s head.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Watch the truly chaotic video below:<\/strong><br \/><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"359\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0t5tlULW9X4\" width=\"635\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And that night, October 04, 2009, Pete ended the show by saying &#8220;<em>are you watching closely?
