The tour was a long one, and saw them performing 40 shows over almost two months &#8211; so it stands to reason that the vocalists might have had a couple of nights where they were feeling a bit poorly.<\/p>\n<p>Which is exactly what happened in Detroit, at the show on September 11, 2011. Blink-182&#8217;s Tom DeLonge was reportedly feeling poorly, and My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way stepped in to sing his part on the blink classic &#8216;First Date&#8217;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And to be honest, he absolutely smashes it.
