This one, titled <i>01020225,&nbsp;<\/i>features four tracks, including covers of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/the-psychedelic-furs\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-psychedelic-furs\" data-tag=\"the-psychedelic-furs\">the Psychedelic Furs<\/a>\u2019 \u201cSister Europe\u201d and the B-52s\u2019 \u201cPlanet Claire.\u201d It also includes the band\u2019s \u201cThe One\u201d and \u201cWin or Lose.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe One\u201d originally appeared on the soundtrack for 2002 film <i>Orange County&nbsp;<\/i>while \u201cWin or Lose\u201d appeared on the soundtrack to 2001 film <i>Out Cold<\/i>. Both were also released as b-sides for the Foo Fighter\u2019s single \u201cAll My Life.\u201d The live cover of \u201cPlanet Claire\u201d was recorded in 2002 at the Supper Club in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>Last month Foo Fighters dropped <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/foo-fighters-rarities-ep-arcade-fire-dead-kennedys-891629\/\">01070725<\/a>,&nbsp;<\/i>a five-song EP from the archives that included covers of Arcade Fire\u2019s \u201cKeep the Car Running\u201d and the Dead Kennedys\u2019 \u201cHoliday in Cambodia.\u201d The band launched their vault series in July with the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/foo-fighters-live-ep-00950025-vault-855972\/\">three-song set,&nbsp;<i>00950025<\/i><\/a>, which included two rare songs from their 1995 Reading Festival set and the&nbsp;<i>There Is Nothing Left to Lose&nbsp;<\/i>track, \u201cNext Year,\u201d recorded at a 2000 show in Melbourne, Australia. They\u2019ve also released <i>00111125 Live in London, <\/i><i>00070725 Live at Studio 606&nbsp;<\/i>and &nbsp;<i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/foo-fighters-roswell-live-album-storm-area-51-day-887771\/\">00050525 Live in Roswell<\/a>. <\/i>The band began the Foo Files series as a way to start celebrating their 25th anniversary, which will be marked next summer and is tied to the 1995 release of their self-titled debut.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/foo-fighters-psychedelic-furs-b-52s-ep-898486\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Rolling Stone<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Foo Fighters have dropped another surprise EP from their Foo Files archival series.
